Admission Guidelines

Finding the right school is all about finding the right environment for a child and we at Prashasthi School, Yadavanahalli (Hosur Road), Bangalore, strived and developed with the same goal in mind. Admission is open to all children from Kindergarten, and Grades I to IX and PU, irrespective of caste, creed, race, region or gender.

We would like to inform every parent that we have very good number of seats available for Kindergarten classes. As per the policy, we have the following guidelines for admission:

• The first priority is for siblings.
• The children of our teachers and other staff members.
• The Nationally Mobile Group including central services and other transferable services of India.
• The next priority is for the general category.
• Application for admission to all the above mentioned grades is open and is accepting the forms.

To have an effective teaching learning process, we maintain limited class strength. Considering the limited number of seats available, it is expected that those, who seek for admission will realize and understands the constraints the institution faces. The disappointment of not getting admission should not become a matter of unhappiness among parents.

• Term starts from the month of June.
• Cut-off Age: Pre-nursery: Child should be at least 2 years of age as on 1st of June, of that academic year.
• Cut-off Age: LKG: Child should be at least 3 years 10 months of age as on 1st of June, of that academic year.
• Cut-off Age: UKG: Child should be at least 4 years 10 months of age as on 1st of June, of that academic year.
• Cut-off Age: 1st Grade: Child should be at least 5 years 10 months of age as on 1st of June, of that academic year.
• For admissions details for higher grades, please check in the month of March/April for available seats.
• Admission form: Please contact the school during 1st week of February.
